LLANDUDNO FUNDRAISER'S DRAMATIC FLAIR

The President of the Llandudno North West Cancer Research Fund committee has become a double president. Bill Matthews, who has been involved with the committee for 28 years, has now been named President of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) the main representative body for amateur theatre in the UK.
Bill says, �Being named President of NODA is a tremendous honour and I am proud to represent an organisation that I have been involved with for so long. However I shall not be neglecting my duty to the Llandudno North West Cancer Research Fund committee as this work remains very important to me.�
Iris Matthews, Bill's wife of 50 years said, �I�m really proud of my husband.� He�s done a great deal of voluntary work in his life and has donated so much time and effort to helping others�.
Iris is also involved with the charity and is the treasurer of the North West Cancer Research Fund Llandudno committee which has raised �14,000 this year. The money will be spent on pioneering research in the North West Cancer Research Fund Institute at the University of Wales, Bangor.
